EULA (End User License Agreement)

Introduction

This is an agreement between you, the license owner, and Aeiou Tools. By purchasing, or downloading, or installing, or using, or otherwise handling the typefaces, you accept the terms of this agreement. In accepting the terms of this agreement, you acknowledge understanding and complying with its terms. If you do not wish to enter into this agreement, do not purchase, access, download and/or install or otherwise use the Fonts. Outside of their legal use as described in this license, you may not distribute, lend, rent, sell, give away, publicly or privately share any modified or unmodified version of the Fonts. This agreement replaces and supersedes any previously made oral or written proposal or agreement regarding the use of the Fonts between you and Aeiou Tools.

Definitions

“Aeiou Tools” refers to César Bourgeois, sole proprietor, 25 Route du Revermont, Passenans 39230, France.

“Company”refers to a single brand. When purchasing a license you're purchasing the right for a single brand use. A multiple-brand company needs to purchase multiple licenses for each brand.

“Designer” refers to the entity that may purchase in the name and on behalf of the client and that physically uses the Typeface.

“Font / Fonts” refers to the digital files provided by Aeiou Tools organized into weights, widths, and styles that together constitute a typeface.

“License Owner” is the individual, company, corporation or other organization subject to this Agreement due to their access or use of Font Software. The License Owner shall always be the end user of the license who benefits from it.

“Third Parties” are the people who are working and acting on behalf of the License Owner and not on the basis of their own interests.

Licenses

Desktop / Print A Print license allows you to install our fonts on your devices and use it to create any material such as documents, posters, banners, merchandising, signage for one single company.

Web A Web license allows you to use our fonts on a single website without any traffic limit. You can only use WOFF and WOFF2 files, uploading a desktop OTF file is forbidden.

App/Video game An App/Video game license allows you to use our fonts in a single application/video game released on different digital stores or physically for console, computer and mobile.

SocialA Social license allows you to use our fonts on any social media without follower limitation. Content can't be used outside of social media platforms.

Trademark A Trademark License allows you to use our fonts to create a logo or wordmark for one single company/brand. This is the only license that allows you to convert the font in outline and modify it.

TrialsA free license to try our fonts and show them to a client before purchasing. The license doesn't allow creating any final output or making profit.

Unlimited Covers all possible uses on all devices and media. Available upon request at peace@aeiou.tools.

General

RestrictionsThis is a list of things you CAN'T do with our fonts: use them in political and/or religious context; promote violence and discrimination; edit our fonts and create custom versions or copies; convert Fonts to other formats; change the name of our fonts; publish or share our fonts on public websites or repositories; create NFTs without contacting us.

Third Parties A license permits any number of Third Parties to use the Fonts on behalf of the License Owner. You must ensure that any Third Parties have read and agreed to the terms of this Agreement. If a Third Party stops working for the Licensee, they must destroy all copies of the Fonts.

Warranty & Support We endeavor to produce our Fonts to the most up-to-date technical standard. Should we fail within 30 days after your first report, you may ask for a refund within another 30 days.

Intellectual Property The License Owner acknowledges that Aeiou Tools is the owner of all rights, titles and interests in the Fonts, including copyrights, design rights and trademark rights.

Applicable law This Agreement shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with French law.
